ANYONE CAN LEARN TO CODE USING THE “ALTINO CODING CAR”. A VIRTUAL CAR VERSION IS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE. PDE3 Trainings are online, self-paced, and open to DOE Hawaii teachers STATEWIDE. DESIGNED FOR K-12 TEACHERS TO EXPERIENCE & TEACH CODING & CS CONCEPTS TO STUDENTS, WE HAVE TRAINED MORE THAN 500+HI TEACHERS SINCE 2017. APPROVED FOR 3-CREDITS PDE3.

8:00am live kickoff, self-paced videos and online support.
No prior computer science or coding experience required.
Designed for K-12 teachers to teach coding. DOE approved for 3 credits.

Prerequisite: None. This workshop is for non-technical teachers who have no coding experience, and for existing Altino teachers who want to learn SCRATCH, a visual programming language. We will have a separate setup day to get your computer and Altino car working together.
